<< Jesus Goes With His Disciples to Gethsemane at the Mount of Olives >>
(Matthew 26:30, 36; Mark 14:26, 32; Luke 22:39, 40; John 18:1, 2)

When Jesus had said these things, and they had sung a hymn, He came out and went forth with His disciples, according to His custom, beyond the brook Kedron, to the Mount of Olives, where there was a garden called Gethsemane, into which He entered, Himself and His disciples. And having arrived at the place, He said to them, "Pray that ye enter not into temptation. Sit here while I go yonder and pray."

Now Judas also, who was betraying Him, knew the place, because Jesus often resorted thither with His disciples.
